Thai Massage for a touring musician
Facebook really is a funny thing sometimes, when friends from grade school can be reunited through a single status update. After logging in and seeing Sandi's advertisement for a couples Thai Yoga Massage, I was instantly intrigued.
My partner Sharran and I took her up on the offer, and it was well worth it. We've both had plenty of experience with traditional Swedish style massage at places like Stillwater at the Hyatt in Toronto, and we were absolutely blown away by the intense feeling of relaxation and spiritual regeneration that this unique Thai Yoga massage has provided. The quality of treatment provided was bar none.
Sandi is an artist that uses your body's own natural canvas to paint a perfect picture of physical, mental, and spiritual harmony so you can feel better about who you are from the inside out.
Honestly I wish I could have this done weekly, as being a touring musician is extremely tough on my body physically and mentally.
I will definitely be coming back for another session in the very near future.

A massage with Sandi is a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. She ensures that all your senses are treated to a positive environment...the calming aromatherapy, meditative music, and the soft lighting all enhance the incredible massage. She has a soft touch that manages to relax your muscles while never making you feel like a lump of dough in need of kneading. She also discusses your needs and preferences in detail in order to ensure that you are comfortable with and receiving the experience you are in search of. A truly wonderful way to rejuvenate!

I was among a small group of people fortunate enough to be selected by Sandi to help her improve her massage practice, give her feedback, and enjoy the free work! Now, Sandi’s massages are a part of my life-something I do for myself that genuinely helps me find my center.
From the very first massage I received from Ms. Pinelli, it was clear to me that this is something she is passionate about, cares deeply about, and is just naturally good at. Actually “naturally good” is a gross understatement. Sandi’s ability to make you feel at ease, create an atmosphere that induces self-reflection to process real world stress and let go of it, and identify areas of physical and emotional tension is, in my experience, unsurpassed.
Ms. Pinelli works successfully with massage “newbie’s” helping them become comfortable with being touched, relaxing and letting go. Thai Yoga Massage has the greatest effect on clients when they actually truly let go and let the masseuse move the body completely. This is an easy concept to understand-but a difficult one to practice for a lot of people. Sandi’s calmness and ability to build trust with clients really helps move this along.
To me, trust is the most important component to a real massage. Anyone can learn the techniques-sure some are more skilled at this than others. But it is the ability to be trusted by others, and not just with their physical well-being, but with one’s emotional well-being as well, that separates the good from the great. Sandi develops this trust with each person-not just because she is technically a good masseuse, but because of the person she is.
I highly recommend trying Sandi Pinelli’s Thai Yoga Massage. I think you will find the experience as relaxing, invigorating, and good for your mind, body and well-being as I have

Sandi Pinelli is one of the best massage practitioners that I have experienced. I have wide familiarity with various types of massage for over twenty years and am very impressed with Sandi’s abilities. Sandi first introduced me to Thai Yoga Massage and now I have to say I am converted. I have had other Thai massages, but Sandi is truly the best.
Sandi’s gentle but strong touch, as well as her kindness and understanding of the body shows in each of her massages. She has a wonderful ability to “listen” to your body and instinctively knows what your muscles as well as your “spirit” needs. I always feel refreshed and nurtured after her massages. The world would truly be a better place if everyone got to experience a Sandi massage. I wish I could have her with me wherever I go!

I have been a competitive rugby athlete for the past 13 years, and in that time I have received countless different treatments for various injuries. The Thai Yoga Massage that I received from Sandi was not only the most relaxing but had the best results. I recommend this treatment to anyone who has an injury or just needs a relaxing experience.

As a self-professed massage addict, I can say that Sandi is by far the best massage practitioner I have ever worked with. She tailors massages to suit your needs and creates a very relaxing and meditative environment. Top notch!

This was my first experience with Thai Yoga Massage and I really didn't know what to expect. I have to admit that I am now a big fan. Not only did Sandi stretch me in ways I never felt possible (and it felt amazing) but it was also so relaxing. The healing and relaxing powers of Thai Yoga Massage have made me a supporter for life. Not only does it make me feel stronger in body, but mind and spirit as well.

For years, I lived without understanding the benefits of massage. The refusal to provide my body with sorely needed treatments stemmed largely from my one-dimensional understanding of what a massage was. I assumed the word “massage” was synonymous with deep tissue probing, greasy lubricants and a lack of clothing. This skewed understanding was shattered, however, when my partner, Sandi, and I traveled to Thailand for the first time in the spring of 2007. While wondering the streets of Bangkok, Sandi coerced me into trying a massage that was “more like a guided stretch” that would apparently “restore balance and energy in my body”. Still feeling apprehensive, I succumbed to her recommendation, and after spending 90 minutes in a local Thai Yoga Massage facility, my perception of massage was permanently changed.
Sandi’s previous experiences are what led her to train in the art of Thai Yoga Massage, and after taking comprehensive courses at remarkable schools; she has perfected her skill and now treats me, among others, whenever desired. The benefits that I’ve experienced as a result of this are too long to list, but I will say –
…if you can sense that you’re body feels “run down”
…if the typical methods of relaxation aren’t restoring your mind
…and if the same nagging pains are affecting your lifestyle…
You owe it to yourself to try a Thai Yoga Massage.
